how we can help
Find the spot that hurts.
As a rule, we first treat diseased or injured joints, bones, muscles, tendons and
ligaments conservatively: with manual medicine, osteopathy,
acupuncture, shock wave therapy, Spineliner, PRP (therapy with your own blood) and
hyaluronic acid. We offer both conservative and surgical treatment. Where an operation is
necessary, the range extends from minimally invasive procedures to joint replacement.
Physiotherapy and radiology are available in the same building.
Click on a point in the drawing or on a line next to it. You will then see what we
examine and treat in that area.
All common conservative treatments, arthroscopic (keyhole) and open shoulder operations. For advanced wear and tear, also an artificial shoulder joint.
Examination and advice take place in the practice, including ultrasound. We first treat without surgery, with methods including acupuncture and shock wave therapy. If that does not help, an operation follows: arthroscopic or open, as an outpatient procedure at the OP-Centrum (surgical centre) in the same building. Joint replacement is an inpatient procedure at the hospital where Farid Raufi has admitting privileges.
All common conservative treatments, manual medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture and computer-assisted Spineliner treatment.
We treat the back and neck without surgery. This includes manual medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture and the Spineliner, a computer-assisted examination followed by impulse treatment. Osteopathy, Spineliner and Go-On treatment are self-pay services, and so is acupuncture, except for chronic pain in the lower back (lumbar spine): in that case, statutory health insurance pays. The prices are listed openly on the Services page.
All common conservative treatments, hand surgery and arthroscopic procedures on the elbow.
Examination, advice and aftercare stay in the practice; operations are performed as outpatient procedures at the OP-Centrum in the same building. For you, this means one address for the whole course of treatment.
All common conservative treatments, diagnostics in the practice, artificial hip joint.
Diagnostics take place in the practice. Farid Raufi inserts artificial hip joints as an inpatient procedure at Sana Klinik München (a hospital), where he has admitting privileges. This means that in hospital you are operated on by the same doctor you saw during your consultation.
All common conservative treatments, arthroscopy, corrective osteotomy and artificial knee joint.
On the knee, we perform arthroscopies and corrective osteotomies, and joint replacement for advanced wear and tear. Minor procedures are carried out as outpatient operations at the OP-Centrum in the building, artificial knee joints as an inpatient procedure at the hospital where Farid Raufi has admitting privileges.
All common conservative treatments, forefoot surgery, arthroscopy and ankle joint replacement.
Forefoot surgery and corrective osteotomy of the forefoot, arthroscopy of the ankle, and replacement of the ankle joint and of the joint at the base of the big toe.
Bone and ligament injuries in any part of the body, cared for by a doctor with the additional qualification in sports medicine.
We treat bone and ligament injuries in every part of the body.
Farid Raufi holds the additional qualification in sports medicine; the initial
examination takes place in the practice.

who treats you
A doctor who sees you at your consultation and operates on you in the operating theatre.
Farid Raufi has been a specialist in orthopaedics since 2003 and has run the
practice since April 2008. Outpatient procedures take place at the OP-Centrum in the same
building, inpatient operations at Sana Klinik München, where he has admitting privileges.
No unnecessary treatments or therapies. For every patient, we look for the best and most
efficient individual solution, and we take the time to explain the findings and options
clearly. In this way, joint function can be preserved in many cases.
Anyone who calls should be understood: at reception as well as in the consultation room.
That is why we list here which languages are spoken in this practice.
The practice is in the Gesundheitszentrum Giesing (health centre), right at Giesinger Bahnhof station. U-Bahn, tram, S-Bahn and bus
all stop at the same place, eleven lines in total. The building entrance is next to the Aquila-Apotheke (pharmacy),
step-free and with a lift.
